New Buffalo Savings Bank Loan Officers received recognition at a banquet on May 4th as an Outstanding Business Partner to Berrien County Career & Technical Education.

Barry Griffin, Debra Moffitt, Brent Sorenson and Wendy Simons, Marketing Officer, presented seven weeks of financial literacy classes to New Buffalo High School Seniors. “These students are going to face a lot of challenges in the next few years,” said Simons. “The American Bankers Association ‘Get Smart About Credit’ program is packed with information and tools to help them make good decisions. Building and protecting their good credit now will help them significantly in the future.” Shelley Wheeler, NBHS Business Teacher, has invited the bank in again for next year’s seniors.
