2 BigHearts accepts donation from New Buffalo Savings Bank

           
New Buffalo Savings Bank has been a financial supporter of 2 BigHearts Foundation since 2005 and is proud to continue sponsorship of its fundraising events. The annual 5K Run/Walk is coming up on Saturday, May 24th, in Long Beach.
 
Jim Clarke is the founder of 2 BigHearts, an organization devoted to increasing awareness of the inherent dangers of undiagnosed heart disease in women. Since its inception, 2 BigHearts Foundation has made a significant contribution to the community. It has been instrumental in saving lives by partnering with hospitals, primarily LaPorte Hospital, to provide free cardiovascular screenings for hundreds of women. Some participants were found to have previously undiagnosed heart conditions and then directed to their physicians for intervention and care. One such screening was held at New Buffalo Savings Bank in 2007.
